Cherbourg Terminal Vrac SAS

Port of Cherbourg SAS was not in a position to operate directly the bulk terminal because it is holding the port public facility concession from Ports of Normandy Authority.

This is the reason why a sister company was set up by Port de Cherbourg SAS: Cherbourg Terminal Vrac SAS (Cherbourg Bulk Terminal SAS).

As in Port de Cherbourg SAS , Cherbourg Terminal Vrac SAS has two equal shareholders CCICC (CCI Cherbourg-Cotentin) and LDA (Louis Dreyfus Armateurs). The board is chaired by Pierre Géhanne, General Manager of LDA and the Vice-Chairman Jean Claude Camus, President of CCICC.

Cherbourg Terminal Vrac SAS will hire the staff that will be required for the handling of the bulk including the offshore lightening of the ships. Didier Aumont is the General Manager of the company.
